Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) requires one (1) position/thickness measuring system with the following characteristics: Measurement along one axis/dimension system shall be capable of at minimum ± 0.1 micrometer accuracy and a repeatability of 0.02 micrometers. System shall include a measurement range of at least 25 mm and operating temperature range within 10 to 40 degrees Celsius. Display/Measurement readout system shall be capable of displaying the full range of accuracy of the measuring system. System shall also include basic functionality to collect and clear measurement data, operate measurement components to perform measurements, and readout measurement values clearly. 3. Delivery: Delivery location is Army Research Lab, 2800 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, MD, USA, 20783. The Contractor shall cover all travel related costs. C.
