In accordance with 10 United States Code 4022(f), Authority of the Department of Defense to carry out follow-on production contracts or transactions, The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA), Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397-5000 intends to issue a sole-source solicitation (W56HZV-22-R-0008) restricted to Danbury Mission Technologies, LLC, 100 Wooster Heights Rd, Danbury, CT 06810-7509, for AN/VVR-4 Laser Detecting Sets and associated support. The solicitation will be for a five-year hybrid Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Cost type Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The AN/VVR-4 Laser Detecting Set and associated ancillary services acquired under this contract are to satisfy a DoD requirement to provide a layered, modular approach to enhancing the combat survivability of current and future ground vehicle platforms. This effort includes: (1) delivery of a maximum 510 AN/VVR-4 Laser Detecting Sets (LDSs); (2) delivery of a maximum 40 Laser Diode Pulsers (LDPs); and (3) support services to include engineering, test, software, log, and NRE engineering development. An award date in February of 2023 is estimated and anticipated for this action. All contractors must be registered in the DoDs System for Award Management at http://www.sam.gov. Information on getting registered may be obtained on the website. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 July 2022 and will close on or around 29 August 2022. A U.S. Government Technical Data Package (TDP) is not available for this procurement action. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 AND 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
