This is a sources sought announcement; a market survey for information only to be used for preliminary planning purposes. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this request including interested small business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. All interested parties should respond. The 145th Airlift Wing intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract for the maintenance/repair of 150 lb. Flightline Halon Fire Extinguishers to include Inspection of the down tube and valve assembly solder. All interested parties will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a quote no later than Tuesday, 27 December 2021, 10:00 am EST. Please include company name, CAGE Code, DUNS number, POC information. To be considered, interested parties must also submit license/certification for the inspection, maintenance, and testing of halon fire extinguishers in compliance with state and national fire code criteria and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. In the event a sufficient number of small business contractors are not available for adequate competition, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
