Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the replacement of the existing Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) fire protection system with a water only system that complies with current Air Force requirements for aircraft hangar fire protection at Eielson AFB, Alaska. Architectural modifications include the construction of walls to expand office and tool storage space, as well as the construction of emergency egress exits from the hangar bay. Additional features of work include heating, ventilation, and lighting upgrades. In addition to the base work described above, the solicitation will include the following option line items: 1. Construct Fire Protection Water Loop and Fire Hydrants, and 2. Telecommunications Cabling. The pre-bid conference is scheduled for 06 May 2024 at 1:00pm local time on Eielson AFB.
