This Notic... PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) construction solicitation for the subject project. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price construction project to perform repairs to the monolith joints at the Cheatham Power Plant. All work will be accomplished on the outside of the dam on the exterior joints of the structure. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Scope of Work. Example of work to be accomplished: measuring monolith joints for ordering expansion materials, remove and dispose of existing joint/caulking material, supply and install new watertight expansion joint material. This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: 100% Total Small Business SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: It is anticipated that from the Request for Quote (RFQ) Solicitation, the Government will award one (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract whose quote is the lowest price.
