The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Cruise Missile Defense Systems (CMDS) Project Office, intends to issue a solicitation for the replacement of the following Government Furnished Property: -FIP Station -LAT/VIB Station -LAT/Shock -LAT/FSDA -LAT/Shock Drop Tower -Continuity Shorts Resistance Tester -ECA Test Station -E7 Fuze RF Sensitivity Station -Safe and Arm Assembly Test Station -Impact/Launch Switch Centrifuge and Pendulum -PIND Tester -Abort Switch Tester -Assembly Tooling and Fixtures Contract W15QKN-21-D-0008 requires the use of an extensive amount of Special Acceptance Inspection Equipment (SAIE) to perform the advanced inspections required during the routine testing and lot acceptance of the hardware delivered, as well as production tooling. This equipment is owned by the USG and was provided to LM for use in execution of the requirement for STINGER Fuzes, and has been subsequently operated and maintained by LM. The Government intends to fulfill this requirement via a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to contract W15QKN-21-D-0008 with Lockheed Martin (LM), Liverpool, NY 13088, pursuant to Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)/Solicitation. Responses to this announcement are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP/solicitation or an award. This notice should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or about fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this announcement.
