The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armament Center intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote to DRS Network and Imaging Solutions, LLC, CAGE Code 32865 pursuant to FAR 13.501(a) for military ruggedized tablet kits and accessories to support the Artillery Fire Control Division. The artillery fire control division is in need of military ruggedized tablets for research developmental engineering and testing. The tablets in question need to be of particular dimensions and performance requirements in order to be properly integrated into existing science and technology programs. The S&T program’s requirements have high shock and environmental requirements as well as specific space and mounting instructions for this tablet. The resultant contract shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order with a delivery date of nine (9) months after date of award. The applicable NAICS Code for this is 334111. The contractor shall provide components listed above to the US Government: The Leonardo DRS MRT104 Blk II Tablet Kit is comprised of: Tablet, one (1) hard drive (with Win10 LTSC), two (2) batteries and a power supply ('brand name' or comparable product is acceptable.) DRS Network and Imaging Solutions, LLC is currently the only vendor that can provide the username and passwords for access to this database. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). Further, this synopsis does not guarantee of a future RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals/quotes, and, cannot be accepted by the Government to form a bidding contract.
