This is an RFI. This announcement is considered Market Research in accordance with FAR 10. This is not a solicitation for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this RFI will be used for informational purposes only. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise for future business with the Government. DLA Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA anticipates soliciting a competitive procurement for the Cloth, P/W, Tropical, Air Force, Shade #540. NSN: 8305-01-049-1775 (PGC: 91754) with military specifications MIL-DTL-21115L, dated 24 June 2005. The estimated quantity is 50,000 yards. The Government anticipates a single delivery due date, with the vendor making multiple deliveries prior to that date. The production lead time is 360 days (210 days if the First Article Requirement is waived). Destination will be Peckham Vocational Industries in Lansing, MI. The Berry Amendment will apply (DFARS 252.225-7012). Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for an award. Representations and certifications must also be on record. Submission requirements: Responses to this RFI must be sent to Michael Baron, Contract Specialist, at michael.baron@dla.mil by 25 October 2021 and should include company name and point of contact email address, CAGE code, company size relative to NAICS Code 313310 and any small business set-aside categories, any other supportive information and answers to the following questions: What is the absolute minimum quantity that DLA Troop Support would have to guarantee in order for your company to participate in this procurement? Are there any issues with availability of raw materials? What is your monthly production capacity? Estimated Price, FOB Destination: Are commercial equivalents for the cloth available? If so, please provide, via attachment, any documentation that will facilitate a comparison between the P/W, Tropical, Air Force Cloth and the commercial equivalent. Respondents will be placed on the solicitation mailing list. Any information provided is voluntary.
