The Army Contracting Command – Redstone has a requirement for FY 2020 procurement of MQ-1C Gray Eagle MQ-1C Extended Range (ER) aircraft and associated hardware along with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Maintenance and Repair. The FY 2020 procurement is anticipated to be a sole source, firm fixed price (FFP) modification to contract W58RGZ-19-C-0022 with cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) CLINs for GFE Maintenance and Repair. This effort is anticipated to include the procurement of fifteen (15) each Aircraft, fifteen (15) each SADTS, and one (1) lot of GFE Maintenance and Repair with one option period of six (6) each Aircraft, six (6) each SADTS, and one (1) lot of GFE Maintenance and Repair. It is anticipated this effort will be awarded by 30 September 2020. The anticipated deliveries for FY20 requirement ends 26 months after date of award. The anticipated deliveries for the option effort ends 21 months after date of option exercised. Authority cited is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2) entitled only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Justification and Approval applies to other than full and open competition basis. This requirement is sole source to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA 92064. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
