REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Alabama Air National Guard - Dannelly Field, Montgomery AL, to identify potential vendors capable of performing repairs on a 2006 Oshkosh Striker 1500AF Fire Truck, Serial Number 10TBKAK176S085XXX. The 187 Fighter Wing located at the Montgomery Regional Airport, Montgomery, AL, is requesting information, pursuant to FAR PART 10, in support of Market Research, to identify potential sources for the troubleshooting and repair of the above referenced Fire Truck. Initial troubleshooting has led the end user to believe the malfunction is related to the Power Divider Circuit Breaker Panel (vehicle interface module), Power Divide Coupling or Power Coupler. In addition to repair capabilities please describe policy on storing equipment pending funding, if repairs estimate exceed initial funding. The Fire Truck is currently immobile and will require pick-up and delivery as part of the contract action. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non- personal services necessary to perform support. This notification is posted as full and open however if two of more small businesses respond the solicitation may be posted as a small business set-aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811111, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $8.0M. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice with a capability statement not to exceed (NTE) two (2) pages and ensure your small business status is identified per listed NAICS code. Capability statements shall be electronically submitted via email only. No paper documents will be accepted or acknowledged.
