This is a service contract to provide quality food services support to the Medical Readiness Brigade, National Capital Region (MRB-NCR) at Walter Reed National Military Medical. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing food services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision and other items and non-personnel services necessary to perform food services to include preparation, cooking, cleaning, and serving quality meals to the Soldiers as required at Fort Walker, VA. The Contractor shall provide food catering services that are to the standards set forth in this contract. The MRB-NCR requires a Food Service contract to provide a total of 5600 hot Breakfast meals and 5600 hot Dinner meals on the dates of 10 March through 02 April 2025 (23 days, 2 meals/daily for 300 soldiers) to support the Army Expert Field Medical Badge competition, for candidate’s events at 18436 4th Street, Fort Walker, Virginia 22427. The food will be provided by the contractor and the meals / menus are prepared and served by the contractor along with the utensils. The kitchen dining facility (DFAC) will be provided by the government where the food is prepared and served. Solicitation and PWS attached.
