It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential small business firms capable of providing the supply and/or services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. The NAICS contemplated for this requirement is 316990 number of employees 500 Product Service Code is 3770, Saddlery, Harness, Whips, and Related Animal Furnishings The Contract Type is anticipated to be a multi-year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity and Indefinite Delivery Contract. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents shall not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents shall also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents shall submit capability statements that clearly define the company's ability to provide the services stated in this RFI. This requirement supports the U.S. Army Caisson Platoon conducts memorial affairs operations in support of all Joint Services in Arlington National Cemetery to honor our Nation’s fallen service members and their families. On order, the Caisson Platoon provides assets in support of State Funeral missions and key strategic engagement ceremonies in and beyond the National Capitol Region. Saddles and pads must be uniform and fit to each horse for the safety and life of the herd. The U.S. Army Caisson Platoon’s horses vary in age and size. Contractors shall be able to state rather or not they can provide all the items listed in the provided DRAFT purchase description. The SOW will be finalized prior to solicitation. The contractor shall provide only Circle Y, Julie Goodnight Cascade Crossover Saddles and Circle Y, Julie Goodnight Saddle Pads in accordance with the purchase description (PD) with associated Caisson Detachment customizations and fitting as detailed in the purchase description.
