This procurement is set aside 100% for current 8(a) contractors. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and any other work necessary to provide South Field sidewalk improvements project complete and ready for use. The work shall be accomplished using commercial grade products and materials and installed in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local codes and ordinances. The primary purpose of this project is to enhance the pedestrian pathways around the new Simulator Building (B.3200). The work shall include construction of new sidewalks, new pedestrian marked crossings and pedestrian crossing signs. The new pedestrian crossing signs shall be complete with solar powered flashing lights. The project will involve demolition and construction, crosswalk markings and signage, traffic maintenance plan, and tree removal and planting.
