Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) has a requirement to procure the installation and maintenance of 4 strands of single mode dark fiber, 9/125 micron, SC type connections between 115 Shackleford Court, Havelock NC, 28532 and Station G6 Building 4397 at Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE). The installation and maintenance services and support include but are not limited to the following: support for phone services, maintenance shall include repair services if there are any issues with the fiber, and a mean-time-to-repair of 4 hours or less from the time an issue is reported. The contractor shall provide a base period of performance of twelve (12) months, with an additional four (4) option years of maintenance services and support. Interested parties shall respond by 10:00AM EST on 4 January 2023. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing, must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror’s bona fide capability to provide these items, and sent to joanna.l.schwab.civ@us.navy.mil. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), BUT RATHER A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ISSUED AS A MARKET RESEARCH REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. The Government is looking to identify interested and capable sources only. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or enter into a contractual agreement. The Government is not obligated to pay for information submitted in response to this request. Capable contractors are requested to provide a capabilities statement of no more than 1 page in length that demonstrates the respondent’s ability and qualification necessary the requirement. In addition, please provide your company's business size and CAGE code. All properly marked proprietary data received in response to this notice will be protected from release outside of the Government.
