The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with HIL-Tech LTD for the procurement of 40 (forty) Deck Edge Outline Lights (DEOL)s for the DDG 1000 Advanced Flight Deck Lighting (AFDL). DEOL to be supplied to replace current lights as part of the DDG 1000 AFDL light set in support of the US Navy’s Visual Landing Aid (VLA) program. NAICS Code: 334511. NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
