Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a purchase order with Astronics Test Systems Inc. of Orlando, FL, a sole source basis, to procure the following 11 PinPoint probes: 3-6 Pin 0.65mm SC70 PinPoint probe (P/N 41-1590); 5 Pin SSOP5 PinPoint probe (P/N 41-1370); 8 Pin SOIC narrow 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0010); 14 Pin SOIC narrow 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0030);16 Pin SOIC narrow 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0050); 8 Pin SOIC wide 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0020); 14 Pin SOIC wide 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0040); 16 Pin SOIC wide 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0060); 20 Pin SOIC wide 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0080); 2 4 Pin SOIC wide 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0090); and 28 Pin SOIC wide 50 thou PinPoint probe (P/N 43-0100). The probes list above are the only components compatible with PinPoint II-R machine, currently used by the Lakehurst Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management Team. Astronics Test Systems Inc. is the only vender that manufactures probes that are compatible with the PinPoint II-R; therefore, Astronics is the only source of supply for the parts needed for this equipment. THIS NOTIFICATION IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Sheila Battaglia at sheila.l.battaglia.civ@us.navy.mil. Responses to this notice must be submitted by 28 January 2021. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government.
