The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Teledyne Controls, LLC, CAGE: 98571 for the issuance of a Firm-Fixed-price contract. The contract will be for the procurement of aAirborne Data Loaders (ADLs) in support of the Airborne Systems Integration (ASI) Division. Teledyne Controls, LLC, is the sole manufacturer of the needed ADLs. The required ADLs will replace the legacy ADLs with the same functions and in a form factor that will minimize impacts to the air vehicle allowing technological enhancements without requiring functional system changes. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
