The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of one (1) each of Part Number B19761AA, Personalization Bench and Milling Machin... The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of one (1) each of Part Number B19761AA, Personalization Bench and Milling Machines (PBMM) and one (1) each of part number B19757AA Harmonization Benches (HM) and one (1) Cockpit Map File Loading Equipment to support the AH-1Z FMS Bahrain helicopter program. The anticipated award will be made to Thales Defense and Security Incorporated (TDSI) (CAGE 23386). TDSI holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data necessary to provide the required support equipment for the testing and installation of the PBMM, HM and CMFLE. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
