This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information on this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella, det. Naples intends to solicit on a sole source bases for a one-year lease of Sysmex CA-650 coagulation analyzer and the procurement of associated supplies and reagents that are compatible with the brand-name coagulation analyzer. Sole source justification is attached hereto. Pursuant to FAR 5.202(a)(12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis/solicitation. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Italy as prescribed by Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 225.1103(3). The solicitation number is N6817120Q0125 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07 effective 31 August 2020. This requirement is not being set aside for small business. The associated NAICS Code is 334516 and the small business size standard is 1,000. An Addendum to this provision is also applicable to this acquisition and is attached hereto. Price will be the sole evaluation factor.
