The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to issue modification P00001 on a noncompetitive basis to Starfire Industries LLC (CAGE: 3ECK7) of 2109 S. Oak Street, Suite 100, Champaign, IL, 61820- 7460. This requirement is for the following: ITEM 0001- nGen-310-DD Sealed Portable Neutron Generator MFG: Starfire Industries LLC QTY: 1 Each The Government intends to negotiate solely with Starfire Industries, LLC for this modification under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 335312 and the business size standard is 1,250 employees.
