Specifically, this procurement is for PalmerVent. This is a permeable, woven tube which is used in mold venting process at NFPC. The purpose of these vents at NFPC is to prevent gas buildup in molds, which causes defects. The PalmerVent will assure that gas defects are minimal and mold making production runs smoothly and efficient. The contractor shall procure and deliver all items detailed in Section 3.1 of teh attached RFQ N6449823Q5036. Also, this requirement is procured requesting that the Vent Cords are PalmerVent brand specific material. Please see the attached redacted Brand Name Justification document.
