UPDATE; 20 July 2020 - Solicitation Amendment 0001 added. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, intends to procure the production and delivery of Shipboard Lithium Battery Lockers, related spare parts and charging stations for Naval ships over a five (5) year period in accordance with the attached NAVSEA Drawings. Large form lithium batteries have a high energy density and require specialized storage. Specialized lockers have been designed for the storage and charging of these batteries. These lockers have passed shock and vibration testing and are capable of containing a battery casualty event. The procurement of lithium battery lockers and charging stations will consist of any combination and quantity of the equipment and spare parts specified in the Contract Line Items (CLINs) contained in the attached solicitation. This procurement is a Firm Fixed Price Supplies, Total Small Business Set Aside vehicle. Please be advised that telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted. In addition, hand delivery or physical delivery of proposals is prohibited due to COVID-19 related precautions. Electronic delivery of proposals is required via DOD Safe.
