The Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) requires the application of specialized Sherwin Williams grade paint to all finished machine components prior to shipment. The procurement is for eight (8) types of brand specific Sherwin Williams specialized marine-grade epoxy-polyamide paint extensively tested and approved by the Naval Research Laboratory. A minimum of eighty (80) percent of shelf life shall remain from the respective batch date of manufacture in accordance with (IAW) Certificate of Analysis upon delivery, otherwise shipments will be returned.
