Background/Introduction: The Hot Film Anemometer (IFA300) unit is to be used by a thesis student to measure the inlet turbulence intensity into the transonic compressor test rig. The research is being sponsored by ONR as part of an Advanced Casing Treatment Study for Axial Compressors. Needs to be fully compatible with an existing IFA300 (~$20,000) hotwire anemometer unit that the Turbopropulsion Lab purchased in 2008. The data acquisition board (ASA) from that purchase is now obsolete as computers only have PCI slots. The new software THERMPRO32U replaces the old ThermalPro software that also is obsolete. Minimal Technical Requirements/Salient Characteristics: Analog to Digital Data Acquisition Board with 12bit resolution and 1MHz throughput, BNC-Connector Board and Cable. Fully compatible with THERMPRO32U data acquisition software
