The Government intends to make a sole-source award to Peerless Manufacturing, CO. for fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) composite louvers in support of MSC’s T-AKE Class of ships. Said composite louvers conform to ABS Review Letter Task T1547694_DLZ OPN 3026025 and meet stringent ABS regulations for Flame Spread and Smoke Generation. Peerless Manufacturing, CO. is considered to be the sole-source provider of the above-described composite louvers for MSC’s T-AKE Class of ships. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
