The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis for Haystack Gold Subscription Renewals with IHS Global, INC., under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b). Haystack Gold is a registered trademark of IHS Global; therefore, is the only known source for renewal of the Haystack Subscription. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis.
