This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.603, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) found at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The reference number is N00189-24-Q-Z401. The proposed contract action is for commercial SUPPLY as outlined in the below CLIN. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333517 and the Small Business Standard is 500 (no. of employees). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-05 and DFARS Change Notice 07/29/2024. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at the following websites: https://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far https://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk - Pentagon Directorate intends to solicit - on behalf of Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) - distributor of Engraving Concepts, LP (CAGE: 0X9Z3 - Small Business concern) on a Brand Name limited source basis. The redacted Limited Source Justification is attached hereto. The proposed acquisition is to acquire Epilog Fusion 36-60w-Laser Engraver to include air compressor, air pump, additional lens, and unlimited training. which is solely manufactured by Epilog Corporation and only available through its authorized distributor, Engraving Concepts, LP in the Texas area. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The proposed contract action is for supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one distributor, Engraving Concepts, LP (CAGE: 0X9Z3), IAW FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). As previously stated, the required supplies have been determined to be only available from a single distributor, Engraving Concepts, LP. Interested persons may submit a capability statement by the specified response date. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes from any source other than Engraving Concepts, LP (CAGE: 0X9Z3). However, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
