This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This notice SHALL be posted to both the BETA SAM website (https://beta.sam.gov/) and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit – on behalf of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) – Novetta, Inc. (CAGE: 1DGQ8) on a sole source basis. The proposed action is to extend the Elasticsearch Software Subscription License Renewals via a modification to purchase order N00189-21-P-Z030. The quantity and part number associated with this purchase order is as follows: ? Quantity: 120 ? Part Number: SBF-SN The sole source rationale is as follows: N00189-21-P-Z030 was awarded to Novetta, Inc. on 18 December 2020 for Elasticsearch Software Subscription License Renewals in support of NCIS, totaling $630,000.00. On 27 October 2021, NCIS informed the contracting office that the current Elasticsearch Software Subscription Licenses (associated with purchase order N00189-21-P-Z030) needed to be extended through 28 February 2022. Since the current Elasticsearch Software Subscription Licenses were originally procured through purchase order N00189-21-P-Z030 and Novetta, Inc. is currently providing the coverage of the licenses, the proposed action is being processed on a sole source basis to Novetta, Inc.
