This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming Firm Fixed Priced solicitation for supplies in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD). NSWC IHD has a requirement for Skyraider R80D Unmanned Ariel Vehicles (UAV) and PDK Rapid Prototype Kits s. These systems will be employed as part of a larger overall system of systems that will perform detection, marking, and neutralization functions to support military assault operations. NSWC IHD developed the neutralization package which will weigh in excess of 7 lbs. There will be one (1) Base year and Three (3) Option Years: Base Year: Three (3) Skyraider R80D Unmanned Ariel Vehicles (UAV) and six (6) PDK Rapid Prototype Kits Option Year 1: Two (2) Skyraider R80D Unmanned Ariel Vehicles (UAV) and four (4) PDK Rapid Prototype Kits Option Year 2: Two (2) Skyraider R80D Unmanned Ariel Vehicles (UAV) and four (4) PDK Rapid Prototype Kits Option Year 3: Two (2) Skyraider R80D Unmanned Ariel Vehicles (UAV) and four (4) PDK Rapid Prototype Kits This requirement will be a sole source effort. The NAICS Code is 541715. The size standard is 100011 in number of employees and the FSC code is 1550. The solicitation will be restricted under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available for download on or about April 11, 2022. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
