This is a presolicitation notice therefore no response is required at this time. The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement entitled, "Supply and Service of Bulk Liquid Nitrogen and Nitrogen Tanks at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL)", on or about 4/25/2020. The scope of this single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is to provide the following: Supply bulk nitrogen delivery Nitrogen tank lease Services for routine preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement of contractor-leased and Government-owned tanks Emergency repair services and other in-scope repair, and replacement of tanks Installation and servicing of Telemetry Devices for the nitrogen tanks This acquisition will be solicited and awarded on a full and open competition basis in accordance with procedures established under FAR Part 15. NRL intends to award a single-award IDIQ contract with a five (5) year ordering period to fulfill this requirement. The IDIQ contract ordering ceiling is $5.5M for the five year ordering period. The North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) for this effort is 325120 - Industrial Gas Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 1000 Employees. The RFP will be posted to this beta.sam.gov website on or about 4/25/2020. All Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR and DFARS requirements.
