SEE ATTACHED PERSONAL WORK STATEMENT The COLUMBIA Class program requires full-scale testing to validate the performance of a propulsor bearing system. Technical data developed under this effort will support the design and delivery of propulsor hardware, Advanced Propulsor Bearing (APB). The contractor shall provide engineering support onsite at Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) and provide engineering services in support of manufacturing feasibility assessments and sensor design. The contractor provide a manufacturing assessment for non-uniform bearing inserts to identify integration control points, installation and removal details, identify special tooling and quantify durations in support of CLB shaft change-out requirement.
