NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit for the procurement of : NSN 1377-01-492-6460 and NSN 1377-01-492-6470 , P/N SCD 3205AS266 and 3205AS268 , JAU-76/A Initiator, Cartridge Actuated and JAU-77/A Initiator, Cartridge Actuated, used on the Weapon System F-18 and T-45, Ship or Aircraft the item is used on or supports. The government (SELECT ONE) does possess the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received prior to the closing date of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source may be required and WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending.
