The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit General Dynamics Electric Boat, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton CT 06340, as prime contractor for the construction of up to twelve (12) VIRGINIA Class Submarines from FY 24 to FY 29 and for Non-Propulsion Long Lead Time Material for the FY30 and FY31 ships. If authorized by law, and funds are appropriated, the resultant procurement will include a multi-year contract. Electric Boat Corporation will team, via a major subcontract, with Huntington Ingalls Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding, 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
