NAVSEA intends to extend contract N00024-21-C-4307 up to 6-months in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 in order to allow the Government time to adequately compete the requirements for a follow-on contract. The requirements for a follow-on contract, intended to be solicited and awared via SEAPORT, are currently being completed by Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head with an anticipated award date of May 2022. The current contract provides Energetics industrial operations services support the GOCO facilities at NIROP ABL located at Rocket Center, WV, and NWIRP Bedford, MA. This effort is aligned with the Industrial Operations mission to improve infrastructure management practices of the ashore industrial base under NAVSEA cognizance. Services under this effort will support business management initiatives, workforce planning, and industrial operation requirements. Industrial operations specifically include services supporting Government-Owned/Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facilities at the Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) located at Rocket Center, WV, and Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant (NWIRP) Bedford, MA. These services will assist NAVSEA Program Managers with technical and administrative services in support of the Industrial Operations mission. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
