The Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for Load Test of the Rappel Tower and Depot Lifting Equipment. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541350. Information is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. Requirement: Annual Load Test of Rappel Tower, Fast Rope Stations and Depot Lifting Equipment. Provide materials, equipment and labor to perform load testing of the Rappel Tower and Fast Rope Stations anchor points and handrails. Load testing of 4 weight handing hoist and one fall arrest system on MCRD Parris Island. The requirement includes all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision to conduct annual load test of Rappel Tower and Depot Lifting Equipment aboard MCRD Parris Island. Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for one (1) base year of 12 months and four (4) 12-month options.
