Automated Information Discovery Environment (AIDE) is an Open Source Architecture and non-proprietary software developed and owned by Novetta, Inc. Open Source Architecture and non-proprietary means AIDE is fully compliant with DoD, MITRE, and NATO standards for interoperability and integration, however, this does not mean other companies have rights to develop AIDE software. Additional requirements must be built-in as AIDE applications, not third-party plug-ins, due to interoperability requirements between multiple DoD stakeholders and existing cybersecurity certifications. Therefore, Novetta is the only source that can complete the non-recurring engineering work. The Air Support Operations Center - Modernization (ASOC-Mod) Program Office at Hanscom AFB does not have a single system that provides hardware and a suite of applications for mission planning and for garrison operations that connects/sends/receives data from/to the joint force. Through extensive market research, the ASOC-M team has concluded that Novetta, Inc. provides the best solution with AIDE hardware and software licenses fulfilling the requirements listed in ASOC-Mod's Organic Networking 1067 Requirements Document. The ASOC-Mod Program Office's intent is to further develop Novetta's AIDE software through non-recurring engineering development to meet ASOC-Mod's Organic Networking 1067 requirements in the following capability categories: Gateway Comms, Common Operating Picture, CAS Stack Management, Airspace and Fires Management, Collaboration, Chat Management, ISR Management for Intel/ISRLO, Map Data, Logistics COP, Electronic Warfare, US Army and External Interoperability, Information Sharing and Cross-Enclave, DIEE; and Mission Workflow, Scheduling, and Personnel Management Command Functions.
