This announcement constitutes the justification/synopsis. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be awarded a DoD contract. This exception to fair opportunity (brand-name justification), contract FA8604-20-2201 will be competed via the NASA SEWP IDIQ contract. It incorporates FAR provisions and clauses through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-05 This requirement is for the following products: VMware VSAN software licenses and support renewals to be utilized by in support of classified network environment OPTION(S) if applicable: N/A All items must be TAA compliant in accordance with the FAR. NASA SEWP pricing is required. DPAS rating is DO-A7. Anticipated Award Date is 11 August 2020 Lt Col Sean Tucker has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, evaluation of proposals or source selection process and does not diminish the authority of the contracting o?icer.
