This notice should not be... NOTICE: This is a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with (IAW) FAR Subpart 5.2. This is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government, but rather a synopsis prepared IAW FAR 5.207 for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for services. DESCRIPTION: Hill Air Force Base, AFSC OL:H/PZIEB intends to issue a RFP for the acquisition of the Multiple Award Construction Contract IV (MACC IV) construction services under solicitation number FA8201-20-R-0018. The anticipated period of performance will be six (6) years and six (6) months. The MACC IV contract is required for streamlined construction services for Hill AFB, 75 CEG/CE and the Utah Air National Guard (UTANG). Detailed information can be found in the Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and other Draft Solicitation attachments. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Foreign participation is not permitted. Anticipated CLIN structure and unit of issue will be as follows. Unit of issue for CLINs 0001, 0002, and 1001 will be Lot. 0001 – MACC IV – All Construction/Design/Remodel/Etc. (FFP) 0002 – Post-Award Conference (FFP) 1001 - MACC IV – All Construction/Design/Remodel/Etc. (FFP) In addition to the draft documents posted (Draft Solicitation, Attachments 01-05 and 34-40), a draft version of the Bidders Library is available upon request. Please submit requests to the POCs listed on this posting via email. Foreign participation is not permitted. RESPONSES: Interested parties may submit responses, by email, to the points of contact listed in this posting. Draft documents will be posted as they become available from now until RFP release. The Government encourages vendor feedback on the draft documents. A question and comment matrix is attached and should be utilized when providing feedback. The Government anticipates releasing the official RFP 08-14 October 2020; therefore, all responses to draft documents need to be submitted no later than 02 September 2020. Please submit questions as quickly as possible in order to allow the Government adequate time to answer.
