The 934th Airlift Wing intends to issue solicitation FA6633-21-R-0002 to solicit proposals for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Project #QJKL 20-0008, Repair Mass Notification - MULTI A solicitation package is anticipated to be available at www.sam.gov on or after 4 August 2021. Paper copies will not be available. The entire request for proposal (RFP) will be made available only on the website SAM.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. It is anticipated that the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation and all attachments: Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) and WinZip (.zip or .exe). The government intends to hold a site visit. The exact date and time will be identified in the solicitation. Work to be performed within NAICS code: 561621 size standard $20.5M. Contractor must be Monaco Certified. The purpose of this project is to retrofit existing fire alarm control panels (FACP) with mass notification systems (MNS), replacing existing FACP with new combined FACP & MNS, replace notification devices, adding notification devices (where needed) relocating pull stations (reducing elevation above finished floor (AFF)), adding pull stations (where needed) and incidental related work. Upgrade Monaco D21 hardware and software for fire alarm and mass notification. Integrate existing installation notification and warning system (INWS) into upgraded Monaco D21 system and conduct commissioning of the each buildings fire alarm and mass notification and INWS integration in accordance with the statement of work, specifications and drawings. Performance period is 270 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Location is 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis, MN 55450-2100. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. A Request for Proposals (RFP) is contemplated IAW FAR part 15 with a 30 day response time after issuance of solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.502-2, and is issued as a 100% Total Small Business set-aside. Magnitude of acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Telephone requests for plans will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments from FBO.GOV All contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database – www.sam.gov and have completed the on-line Representations and Certifications to be eligible to receive award, and also be registered for the applicable NAICS Code 561621.
