This sources sought is issued on behalf of the United States Air Force at Kadena AB, Japan and is solely for information and planning purposes to further the Government's understanding of market capabilities. This Sources Sought is for PN: 60211-1000 Fighter Aircraft Transporter or equal. The Fighter Aircraft Transporter will be used for Fighter Aircraft Crash Recovery operations. In most crash incidents, 1 or more landing gears are too damaged to be towed off the crash site. This transporter will be used to lift the downed aircraft without the use of a crane and also act as a substitute landing gear allowing the aircraft to be towed.
