To improve asset tracking visibility and management capabilities, the 35TH LRS Armory has requested information for an RFID based armory management system. The purpose of the RFID system is to track the firearms maintained in the LRS vault by applying unique, tracking RFIDs onto each individual weapon, with the system accounting for each time the weapon enters or exits the vault, providing 100% asset visibility and inventory at all time. The requirements include: Tracking Software Scanner Installation Training LAN connections Etc. See attached document for further explanation of needs/minimum specifications. The SmarTrack system has been identified as being capable of meeting these requirements, but alternatives will be considered if they meet the same requirements.
