REPLACE LRS TUNNEL - BUILDINGS 5257, 5250, 4251, Project # FXSB 96-1022 This requirement is for the demolishing of the existing LRS Tunnel and replace with a new structure, to include the removal of asbestos and lead paint, on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. This requirement must meet all specifications outlined in the Statement of Work and corresponding documents and drawings associated with project # FXSB 96-1022. The contractor shall have 365 days to complete the project from the Notice to Proceed. All questions related to this solicitation are due no later than 12:00 Noon, Friday, September 4, 2020. Any questions recieved after the proposed date and time may or may not be reviewed or responded to. SITE VISIT FOR REPLACE LRS TUNNEL - BUILDINGS 5257, 5250, 4251 Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2020 Time: 1:00 PM Location: Bldg 4251 on the West Side of Building Please be sure to arrive prior to 1:00 PM. If you are late, you may not be able to gain access to the facility. If you are interested in attending please email jazmine.mcwilliams@us.af.mil, no later than 12 Noon, Tuesday, September 1, 2020. If you are planning to attend, and in need of a base pass, please include that you will need a base pass in your email, and please include the first name, middle initial, and last name of those who are planning to attend and requesting base access. Please note all visitors must be able to provide a valid Federal or State issued ID to be issued a Visitor Pass. Visitors must also present valid registration and proof of insurance of the vehicle they are operating at the time, regardless of vehicle ownership. If not driving or unable to present registration and/or proof of insurance, they will be issues a “Non-driver” pass and will need other transportation. Those who request a Base Pass prior to 12:00 Noon, Tuesday September 1, 2020, will be able to retrieve passes once request has been received and confirmed, at the Boniface Visitor Center, just outside of the Boniface gate. Please note the time it takes to receive a pass to include wait time can take an estimated 45 mins – 1 hr depending on demand, please plan accordingly. For all potential attendees: Contractors must comply with Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, State of Alaska, and local Municipality Health Mandates, and respect any guidelines or restrictions imposed by local businesses.
