This solicitation FA488720Q0040 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a brand name or equal handheld self-positioning laser scanner system. This RFQ is issued under FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This effort is being procured as a total competitive Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334118, Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to deliver the following: Portable 3D scanner with all necessary equipment required to scan and program parts. Scanner program will be compatible with SolidWorks, 3D additive manufacturing and FeatureCAM. The contractor will provide one hand held portable 3D scanner (compatible with Autodesk, SolidWorks, FeatureCAM, 3D Systems already in place software), portable laptop work station compatible with portable 3D hand scanner, 12 months hardware support (warranty), on-site/web based training for 3 people, and compatible software program for both the hand scanner and already in place software. The scanner and above listed components must meet or exceed the salient characteristics attached. The contractor will be responsible for all parts, materials, transportation, and labor of the delivery or shipment to Luke AFB of all aforementioned items in full working order. The contractor must coordinate all deliveries with the designated point of contact on award. Deliveries will be made between Monday and Friday, between 7:00AM and 4:00PM local time, and not on a US holiday.
