This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The 6th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed priced, single award IDIQ, contract with a five (5) year ordering period as a direct award to an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The proposed performance is estimated to be 30 September 2020 to 29 September 2025. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement or drayage and related services as required by the Performance Work Statement. Services include packing, containerization, local drayage, delivery, unpacking, storage and related services for personal property shipments. Direct Procurement Method (DPM) contracts provide JPPSOs a comprehensive movement process for worldwide movement of small/larger shipments to specific overseas locations. The government reserves the right to award to a contract to other than the lowest price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and supplemented by FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Anticipated award by 30 August 2020 with an anticipated start date of 30 September 2020.
