This requirement is for the installation of a leakdetection system on the sub-floor and a safety nest system to be installed under sub-floor hatchesof the HEMP Shield for safety purposes. The J43 requires contractor support to upgrade the automated leak detectioncapability for the HL3 space, Bldg 1022, USSTRATCOM, Offutt AFB NE. This requirement isdue to excessive moisture build-up in the confined space. The contractor shall engineer, furnish***, install and test one (1) new leakdetection system and six (6) safety nets, one (1) each under each subfloor hatches. The new leak detection system will tie into existing Building Management System (BMS) for monitoring and reporting purposes. ***Leak Detection System Components can be found in Paragraph 1.6.8 of attached Performance Work Statement along with additional details about this requirement.
