The purpose of this requirement is to provide cleaning of the interior surface of the entire supply and return ductwork system in Building 40, as well as the surface of the air supply and return vents... The purpose of this requirement is to provide cleaning of the interior surface of the entire supply and return ductwork system in Building 40, as well as the surface of the air supply and return vents and the interior of the Air Handling Units. Please provide questions within by [3 July 2020] Answers will be posted by [10 July 2020] Responses due by [20 July 2020] Questions Asked so Far: 1. What is the hours of operation for us to clean the air duct system? Normal operating hours are 07:30 to 16:30, they do sometimes operate in the evening for 24/7 missions as well. Cleaning could be done during normal hours. Preference would be for the cleaning to be after hours, such as 16:30 to 22:30 or so. The facility manager stated that he could help coordinate with the squadrons in the building such that a single or small military personnel presence was in each area to make sure the Contractors had access to all areas during this time.
