The United States Air Force will award mortuary services contracts only to state licensed funeral homes. The contractor shall provide facilities, equipment, licensed personnel, motor vehicles, professional services, supplies, death certificates, caskets, urns, outer shipping containers, transportation, and perform hygienic practices as specified in the Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall comply with the highest industry standards in fulfilling the terms and conditions of this contract. This solicitation is in an effort to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement with multiple local vendors in order to satisfy the requirements of AFI 34-501 Section 8.16.
