Live fire training facilities require semi-annual maintenance to ensure the safety of fire fighters. Maintenance and repairs must be certified by trained individuals. Applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and safety codes must be met for these facilities to remediate any possible harm, including death, to fire fighter personnel.
