NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1 SOCONS)/PKC intends to award a Sole Source contract to Lift Airborne Technologies LLC, 2130 E Gladwick ST Compton, California 90220-6203, United States, for Lift AV2.2+ NGFWH. See the attached Single Source Justification. 1 SOCONS/PKC will use Simpli?ed Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under simpli?ed acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting o?cers may solicit from one source if the contracting o?cer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justi?cation documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by the closed date speci?ed herein will be reviewed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
