Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source Contract The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base, FL intend to establish a single source contract with Tactical Communications Group LLC, Two Highwood Dr. Bldg 2 Suite 200 Tewsbury, MA 01876, for BOSS Link 16 Software and Hardware Renewal. The authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by only one source reasonably available is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Air Force currently has BOSS Link 16 Software and Hardware which is a proprietary system that requires the use of the Tactical Communications Group, LLC software. This is a notice of the intent to award a sole source contract. It is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to the notice of intent to sole source are anticipated, however, all quotations/responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions/comments or any quotation/response regarding this notice shall be addressed in writing via email and received no later than 1:00 P.M. CST, 19 Janurary 2021 to the below individuals.
